Will You Take Me Home?

The first book in the Paws of Fame series Pickles has just had her litter of six puppies taken away from her - who knows how many litters she's delivered and watched the same thing happen to. She's been left behind in an overcrowded, noisy and dirty barn and she's very weak - the human who comes around once a day doesn't give the dogs much food and Pickles isn't big or aggressive enough to get a fair share.
