Toni Hagen's Nepal

With the meticulous mind of a scientist and the rendition of a story-teller, Toni Hagen first published Nepal in 1961, soon after he had completed his survey of the cuntry for the United Nations. This, then, became the original book to introduce Nepal to the outside world, intext and in unmantched pictures of never-before-seen peoples and their landscapes. Not only did Nepal introduce the country to the outside world, it was also the first work to provide the leaders and administrators of the newly awakened coutnry with a holistic look at the geography and population of Nepal.
