Whether you're buying from Kathmandu, Pokhara, or halfway across the world, we provide convenient payment methods to complete your purchase smoothly. Here is everything you need to know about paying at booksmandala.com.
Checkout Made Easy
After adding your books to the cart and entering your shipping details, the next step is choosing your preferred payment method. Our checkout page is designed for clarity and ease, and you can always reach our Help and Support team if you need assistance.
For Orders Within Nepal
For domestic customers, we offer two secure payment options:
1. Online Payments via Fonepay and ConnectIPS
Books Mandala accepts payments through Nepal’s leading payment gateways including ConnectIPS and Fonepay. These platforms allow users to pay directly from their bank accounts or linked apps, without the need for a digital wallet login.
You can complete the payment directly on our checkout page through a secure and encrypted payment interface. We do not store your payment information and all transactions are processed through PCI-compliant infrastructure.
For extra assurance, you can refer to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
2. Cash on Delivery
Prefer to pay after you receive the book? No problem.
We offer cash on delivery (COD) for all cities and towns covered by our logistics partners—not just Kathmandu and Pokhara. Simply select COD at checkout and pay the exact amount to the delivery agent when your package arrives. There are no extra service charges for COD orders.
COD is one of the most trusted methods for customers who prefer offline payments, and we’re proud to continue offering it nationwide.
For International Orders
If you're ordering from outside Nepal, we’ve made it just as easy for you.
3. Stripe – Secure Global Card Payments
For all international orders, Books Mandala uses Stripe, a globally trusted payment platform that supports Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other major cards.
All card transactions are secured with 3D Secure authentication, and your data is protected with industry-standard encryption. Payments made through Stripe are automatically calculated in your local currency, and you’ll receive a digital confirmation of your order within seconds.
We serve customers in over 40 countries and have successfully delivered books to readers in the United States, Australia, Canada, the UK, Germany, Singapore, and more. For details, see our International Shipping Guide.
Our Unique Feature: Pay by URL
Need someone else to pay for your order? Use our Pay by URL feature.
This allows you to create a unique, secure payment link for any order and share it with someone else, perfect for gifting or when someone else is covering the payment.
Once the payment is made through the shared link, your order will be processed and confirmed. It’s quick, easy, and designed with real-world use cases in mind.
Learn more about this feature in our blog on Smarter Book Recommendations and Payment Features.
